ZDR Investments Event in Singapore

In late September, we organized a presentation in Singapore for our partners and investors, focusing on commercial real estate opportunities in the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region. The event was well-attended, attracting over 40 professionals from Singapore’s finance and real estate sectors.

Even in the digital era, face-to-face meetings remain crucial for building long-term partnerships. That’s why we decided to organize a networking event for professionals from the finance and real estate sectors of Singapore.

Opening the CEE region to Southeast Asian investors

The event took place in late September at the beautiful Arcc Spaces, a venue offering a stunning view of Marina Bay Sands. Over 40 professionals attended to witness an insightful presentation on commercial real estate in the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region from a macroeconomic perspective - a topic we know very well, given ZDR Investments’ Czech roots and our successful track record in European commercial real estate since 2017. Not a long time ago, we expanded into our sixth country within the EU.

We were honored by the support of Her Excellency Michaela Froňková, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Singapore, who opened the event with an inspiring speech on the investment potential of the Czech Republic. Sigrid Zialcita, CEO of the Asia Pacific Real Estate Association (APREA), followed with her industry perspectives. The spotlight then turned to our own leadership team - partners Roman Latuske and Radek Hladký, alongside CEO Ondřej Sychrovský - who introduced the CEE area and the opportunities that ZDR Investments offers to Southeast Asian investors through its master-feeder fund structure.

A Fusion of Finance and Culture

The business perspective of the CEE region was then complemented by an immersive interaction with Czech culture. And what could be better than showcasing the famous Czech glass? The centuries-long tradition of Czech glassmaking was represented by a display of exquisite works by renowned glassmakers Robert Halama, Jiří Pačinek, and Ladislav Ševčík, with the first two even present at the event to provide personal introductions. The event also featured a Moravian wine tasting, led by a local connoisseur and featuring select wines from Gurdau Winery.

Overall, it was a remarkable event. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who contributed to this landmark occasion, and especially to our esteemed guests who made it truly memorable.
